Obama has self admitted to doing drugs of all ranges and sorts. Such tasks do not need to have a negative connotation. ;)

I preferred Obama over McCain, but what has to remember that he is a politician; and he lies and conceits just as much as anyone else - he's just such an articulate and intelligent speaker that it's so much harder to notice, if even possible.

But, obviously, a man in his position is most likely going to try to make a bigger name out of himself and do very well. I'm more optimistic about the future myself.

You made a very good point, Frank, and if Obama is able to hide secrets behind his ability to sex our brains with his words, than he's just the right tool America needs to keep brain washing us.

Also, you cannot blame Bush for everything, he can't make anything happen in America without permission of someone. Take into consideration that he doesn't have the power to declare war, Congress does, he just advised it. Many mistakes that he's made in the past were not his fault alone, but the fault of many other politicians. The media and other ignorant people just convinced us that it was all his doing. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't like the man either, because although all of the mishaps weren't all his doings, he was still willing to do the part.

Indeed, James. Bush got some things wrong and got some things right, like everyone else. However, whether through bad luck or just poor skill, he left America in moderate shambles. Thus, of course we would elect a man promising a complete revamp of everything. Arguably not by a landslide in the popular vote, though, which is interesting. He only won by 3 percent.

In any case, yes, I am looking forward to seeing how everything unfolds before us. :) Maybe one day I'll be president. Or at least in the FBI. That'd be fun.

Adult stem research is the way to go. The things they can do - scientists are wasting time. Though abortion will always continue, and it's arguable that as long as we have the bodies that are already dead, we might as well put them to some use - why not focus on research that has been shown to work, and safe for everyone?

My mind works in all directions. Whether I feel that way or not, I can both sides of an argument extremely clearly, making it hard for me to sometimes even take a side. Therefore, my opinions on certain things are quite blurred - especially when the topic at hand essentially depends upon morality. Morality itself is such an ugly thing. You can look at topics from a complete, practical, clinical point of view, but most people decide not to.

In any case, don't forget, with unwanted pregnancies there are always the dangerous physical consequences of the women giving birth, or perhaps the baby dying in the womb, or perhaps the babies is hideously deformed that the mother would feel guilty giving it to the world (interesting case with multiple standpoints, no doubt, no doubt all deriving from morality and even religion in some points), then there's the mothers who simply don't want to give - understandable. Obviously people need to take responsibility into their hands, and this whole mess would be cleaned up. Never going to happen though, ha.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pro-life in the sense I much prefer that babies live, but never forget to look at the other side of an argument. You'll find it interesting, and not much can ever be looked at from a single standpoint, for everything always differs. I personally wouldn't force a mother to do something she doesn't want to, whether it's abortion or keeping the baby. That's not freedom, despite what the concept of morality says on either side. :\

^ If I continue on that train of thought I would have to get into the baby's rights and freedoms as a citizen, but then I would have to get into the extremely old argument "what age is a citizen" and I don't feel like typing that one. If you so wish to tread that path, be my guest to start.

Obviously I don't agree with many things Obama says. It's like a philosophy or a religion. People may like the general idea of it, but it's nearly impossible to see someone who scoops up relentlessly very single small detail.

Part of the reason I was hoping Obama won on election night was because I was playing on a private server on a character named Barack and I wanted to megaphone "YEAH BITCH YEAH I WON!!!" and see what happened. I actually got to do it, and got a slew of whispers from joyous excitement to bitter hatred. It was quite good. :D

And yes, ha ha, we do need to get into physical shape. Should be on the president's priority. :P
